Could This By Symptoms Of An Allergy?

It has been over 3 months that I have started Coughing gradually that it has gotten worse that I have my bouts of coughing so bad that it makes me gag so bad with shortness of breath. Also I have bout of Nausea. I only had 2 episodes of that so far but the rest just coughing off and on. Then I notice I wake up with nasal and throat congestion and my lips feel dry and tight. Rarely but I get an episode of sneezing a lot for a period of half an hour and then it stops.


I am schedule for a Breathing Test and a Skin Test next Monday with an Allergist. So hopefully I will be able to find out what is going on. Meantime he gave me a nasal spray.


Just wondering if anyone has a similar experience like I do.
 
Very well could be allergies or any nuraber of other things (asthma, acid reflux, etc). Testing should sort it out.
 
As the other poster noted, it could be a nuraber of conditions ranging from allergies to asthma to reflux. The throat and nasal congestion make me think of allergies, though. Hope you find your answers, treatment and relief very soon. Rose
