One way to fix the SRS light coming on in Hondas is to ensure your battery is replaced. If your battery is over 4 years old, this might be the cause of your SRS light coming on. My SRS light came on and I reset it using the jumper wire method seen on the web. The SRS light turned off but came back on. I noticed my map and headlight flickering a little when the engine idled = bad battery or altnerator. The battery indicator indicated "blue" = good battery but when tested at a car store under a load, the battery was actually bad and in my case old 5+ years old. Changed the battery, reset the SRS light using the jumper method and the light has not come on since. Conclusion: In my case, the unsteady voltage caused by my bad battery causes the SRS system to misfunction = SRS light on.
