Could these be fish eggs or not?

Ok, here's the thing.

My auntie has a fish tank with fish in, however she came down stairs to feed them this morning and found a really big clump of pink balls, like corn on the cob but pink and really small, and in the centre is a small white dot.

Is there anyway of telling whether they are eggs and what kind?
 
Make a list of the kinds of fish in the tank... then go to google images or something and type in "<name of fish> eggs" and compare the pictures to what's in the tank.
 
What kind of fish does she have? It would help to know what kind of fish. If it is eggs it will be whats it's parents are I mean Like Angelfish + Angelfish = Gourami would be so weird!
