of all time? He was involved in a plot, but he was trapped at West Point fighting a Guerilla war, surrounded and outnumbered with his knee shot out, recieving little help from the rest of the Continental Forces and trying to keep his wife alive, far away in Philadelphia. (totally occupied by British forces) He played a large part in rare, early victories at Saratoga and Ticonderroga. He also kept Major Knox from being captured while transporting the cannon to Boston by fighting a vicous battle at Quebec, where he recieves his crippling wound. What do you think? Was this plot just a way to keep what few men he had in New York, the men on the convict ships and his wife and family from being anhialated?
