Could someone tell me which of these bikes is a good buy?

I'm buying a bike as a gift for my boyfriends birthday. I'm clueless as to what's good and what's not besides the basics (I know cannondale, trek, bianchi, ross), but there are some listed there are old and I've never heard of before. Perhaps if someone is bored and/or has the time you'd be interested in checking out this craigslist link and let me know which road bikes are worth the buy! I don't really want to spend more than $200.. Id spend $250 if the bike was extra sweet like :) Unfortunately I can't drive around to each of these places and test the bikes out. The bike would be used for a guy 5'9" making a 2mile round trip to work... so no heavy riding. Let me know what you think! Thank you!!

This one looks like a good deal. The price is right and there are no shocks to eat up and energy on the road. I would change the tires to slicks or high pressure road tires to make it more comfortable on the road.

I don't usually suggest a mountain bike with shocks for commuting but if this bike is in good condition and has a 19 or 20 inch frame it could be a good choice. A tire change would help but a 2 mile commute isn't to far on knobbies.

This may be a good buy for a road bike, depending on the shape it's in. Look for a 53 or 54 cm frame.

This Giant may be ok if it has a 19 or 20 inch frame, again no shocks and look to be in good condition. I would offer $125 and see what happens.

That's about it, Good Luck.

Edit check this one out, very good price.
