an oldish second hand bike will last alot longer then that will. this is your life we are talking about, if something serious breaks when ur on it, you could be seriously hurt
Which motorbike do you want to know about/compare to. I suspect you are looking at a chinese or similar cheapo bike.
You get what you pay for.
Jap is best and Italian second - avoid everyone else unless you want to lose tons of cash when you sell it, have it breakdown and not be able to get spares and as good as it looks now it will look tatty very quickly due to poor quality.
Whatever you get might look like a sports bike but it will be a sheep in wolfs clothing and anyone who knows about bikes will know that.
better to spend less cash and get something that looks like what it is instead of mutton dressed as lamb.
Additional details - just seen the link and stand by the comments above.

I agree with timbo
Yes it is a good price for a new motorbike but i wouldnt trust that thing for 5 minutes.
Chiniese quality - those bikes are throw away bikes - just like those £10 tents you can buy that you use once. The same applies to the bikes. You will spend more on parts as they all fall off the bike and then the whole thing ends up braking. Dont buy it.
Buy a known brand like gilera or yamaha
