As a purity check for industrial diamonds, a 7 - carat diamond (1 carat = 0.2 g) is heated to 75oC and immersed in 41 g of water in a constant pressure calorimter. The initial temperature of the water is 25oC. Calculate the ΔT of the water and of the diamond. (Cdiamond = 0.519 J/goC)
