I have many symptoms of Cushing's Syndrome, and asked my PCP to test me for it. We did a 24 hour urine free cortisol test. Today, I got my results, and they are normal. But I heard somewhere (not from the doc) that cortisol levels can go up and down, causing tests to be wrong. Is that true? Should I ask her to run another test or do an MRI of my pituitary gland?
P.S. Already been tested for PCOS. The gyno said I didn't have it.
