Could my Girlfriend be pregnant?

On the weekend we had unprotected sex 6 times.
I did not cum inside of her and her period was due 4 days after we had sex.
We did not obtain an ECP (emergency contraception pill) although I told her she should.
We are being very mature about this and we just need some advice on what we should do. It has been 3 days since we had sex this morning at 3 am.
Thanks heaps.

Yes, it's possible she could get pregnant....or you wouldn't be asking.

Seems you already have the knowledge...big price to pay, and if you're worried now and she's not pregnant, it doesn't mean it won't the next time.

Oh, and having a period doesn't guarantee no pregnancy.

I'm a bit confused about your time lines. For example, you said "it's been three days since we had sex at three a.m." or something like that. As you know, unprotected sex is not "safe" for more than one reason. Of course, the only way to know for sure is to get one of those home-pregnancy tests. Women can get pregnant even if the man "pulls out" before ejaculation, since some semen can come out even before then.

If the timeline you give, i.e. 4 days before her period is supposed to start, there's a good chance she's not pregnant. In fact one effective birth-control method, called the "Standard Days" method (search it), is based upon limiting insemination to just prior to and during menstruation.

This may not be a 100% effective method, but research so far shows it's highly effective.

When you say you're being "mature" about it, does that mean you'll get married and raise the child if she gets pregnant? If so why wait until then, Why not just go ahead and get married now then you won't have to deal with this angst next time you have sex.

I'm sure this has been resolved by now. BUT, unless you are ready to be a father, don't have unprotected sex. It's like playing with a loaded revolver...sooner or later she will get pregnant.
