Could my friend have gotten a false positive on a First Response Pregnancy test?

My best friend thought she was getting her period because she had her usual symptoms, but she recently missed it. It's four days later and she took a First Response Pregnancy Test that gave her a positive result.

The last time she had sex was somewhere between March 23-27 (she didn't tell me exactly).

Some background info on her sexual lifestyle (please don't judge):
She was impregnated by her ex-boyfriend, who's a really sweet guy but she doesn't want to be with him anymore. It was the first time they've had sex in months.
She's allergic to latex and other types of condoms are too pricey, so she just doesn't do the whole barrier contraceptive thing.
She pops Plan B pills (aka the morning after pill) every time she has sex with him. Even though it hasn't been very recent that she's been taking them regularly, she's taken so many within her sex life.
She has a tendency to have Urinary Tract Infections often.

Is there a way that the First Response Pregnancy test could have given her a false positive? Maybe a certain chemical that all those Plan Bs contain could have produced this result. Or maybe something about the constant recurrence of her Urinary Tract Infection. Please let me know, I am really worried for her.
She's also had a miscarriage before.

Ahhhhhh well no. First Response is a very reliable test. I just tested positive yesterday after taking Plan B exactly 8 hours after sex. IT DOES NOT PREVENT IMPLANTATION! It says it does, but it's chemically impossible. The medicine used in Plan B is Progestin, which mimics the hormone Progesterone, which your body produces to basically make a nice home for an embryo.. Basically Plan B works to delay ovulation. It seems as though your friend already ovulated when she had sex and the egg was already fertilized when she took Plan B.

There are no false positives, but she has been taking hormones so I am not really sure in this situation. I think she is pregnant

yeah id say she is pregnant... it wouldnt show up postitive if there was nothing there!!

and long term use of the morning after pill cant be good for her... neither can all the unprotected sex!!

I don't think the plan b can cause a positive test result. The test only looks for a certain hormone and if it's there then she is pregnant.
