Could I drive a manual car on my first try with only knowledge on how to drive one?

I have driven automatic cars before but never manual cars, and I have been eyeing the Mazda RX-8 Manual Transmission. However, I do not know anyone who can teach me how to drive a manual car so the only way I learned was through online guides and videos.

I have watched tutorials hundreds of times and basically have enough knowledge in how to drive one, but I was afraid I couldn't once I go to the dealership to test drive a manual car.

Would I be able to drive a manual on my first try with only pure knowledge and no experience whatsoever? Thanks and sorry for the long detail!
 
It's different... you should find a friend with a manual for you to practice with. If you don't have any... make one? It's worth a try I guess... I would expect to kill it if I were you though.
 
I think you'll have a hard time.. driving manual is one of those things you have to get USED to in order to know exactly what your doing
