My friend recently took it onto my school football field, but got it stuck in a rather deep mud-grass patch... luckily a bunch of guys were there to help push it out, but now there's some wierd noises coming from the engine.. could it have somehow been damaged? Thanks..

i doubt it hurt your car. there might be some mud or dirt in your engine compartment causing the noise. i would was it if i was you. make sure you wash it wihle it's cold and you put a bag over the distributor cap though.

oh yes you could have damaged something. A honda is to small to go mud bugging the suspension probably went to hell on your car. not to mention anything else that got hit while your low car bumped up and down on the Ground. Also you prabably forced the engine to much trying to get it unstuck.

Mud and muddy water can create a lot of issues with a car.
The mud can get into electrical parts shorting them out, CV joints and wear them out, etc...
All sorts of things could happen.....
Best to pressure wash the whole underside and engine real good, let it dry off, then lubricate properly everything that needs it.
