Could he go to jail if i got pregnant?

im 17 and my boyfriend is 18 turning 19 in November, but i was just wondering if my boyfriend would go to jail if i got pregnant...

another question i have is:
what if my family tried to take my boyfriend to court and say i got raped by him...would he go to jail? they have no proof and its all consent...what would happen?
 
Why would you wanna worry about being prego at 17. Get on BC and they may not mind your boyfriend half as much if you don't get knocked up by a guy that will probably run for the hills at 18. As far as jail they could make his life H---. Do you really wanna push this with your parents? We as parents don't always know best but I can bet they don't wanna be raising your kid for ya because they are still raising you since you are 17 and college is very expensive. That's if you wanna go to college and be able to support yourself in say 6 years at the most. Babies do cry allot and they have bills also.

Its ok to grow up just not the way your headed.
 
Legally, you are a child, and he is an adult. Since you obviously had sex, then yes- he can go to jail for being an adult having sex with a child (pretty serious charges!) Yes, your parents can prosecute, because YOU are still their responsibility in every way, including financial. Your parents have a legal obligation to protect you or THEY go to jail, get it? Also, they have to pay for your medical treatment, perscriptions, pregnancy, STD's, child care expenses... why would you do such a thing and not consider how this could affect them? Couldn't you wait just one more year to where YOU could pay for your own sexual consequences? Also, if you REALLY loved this dude, then why would you even allow him to be subject to prosecution like this? Why are these children so selfish???
 
baby girl i went through the same thing as long as you say you guy dident have sex or he dident rape you you are fine your the only one that can put him in jail. i just went through the same thing 2 years ago then i married that guy an we have 2 kids an were happy as ever so dont let your family tell you stuff thats not true
 
your age is to close together so no he wouldn't go to jail. and your parents could take him to court but it'd be a waste of time. i don't think they could prove rape. they'll probably ask you questions and him as well. not unless you said it was rape would it work.
 
No, you are 17 which is legal in the eyes of the law especially if he is 18, not a big deal. And even if it wasnt the only way he could get in trouble is if your parent pressed charges. I was 16 when I had my oldest son who is now 10 and his fater was 19 at the time, nothing happened but my mother did not choose to do so either. But like I said considering you are of legal age nothing should happen
 
even though your still under 18 by only a year your parents could make some waves. but reallistily, your a adult capable of making your own decisions and obviously would not go along with a rape theory. actually the state would have more of a hard time trying to prove there case , especially since the defense would no doubt call you as a witness. but dont worry i doubt it would go there since your 17 and he is only 18 at the moment. hope i answered your questions and eased your mind a little bit.
i also hope that if you are to get pregnant he will not leave you hanging and be there for you and your baby.
