Could Cookie Jar run there own network?

I think they could because for oen they have like 50 series under there belt (if you add the Dic shows they own)they could show without any legal trouble. another thing is they have alot of shows that never finished there airnings in the U.S. like season 2 of World of Quest. And considering most of there shows are Flash they got orignals handeled too. And they also run 2 blocks in the U.S. Kewlopolis and Cookie Jar toons. ( with a third block upcoming for DTV channels called Dic kids). And not to mention all the stuff they could pick up from Teletoon,YTV, and other canadian third parties (like Class of Titans) So do you think they could pull it off?

Okay, for starters, the DiC name is all but dead at this point (the block that was supposed to premiere in March hasn't and probably unlikely be made because of Cookie Jar's participation in ThisTV's programming block as well as their continuing participation with CBS on their "Kewlopolis"). Cookie Jar does have over 6,000 half-hours of productions already in the can and are continuously making new productions. The official line is that they make 260 half-hour episodes of programming every year through their units. e

That said, they could launch a new network, but they won't. They're largely a content company and aren't really into creating outlets for their programming, especially since it's cheaper to create content. Cookie Jar has a disadvantage because they would have to partner with other parties (either a Big Media group that aren't really creating new channels these days or folks with deep pockets) to launch a network. Otherwise, they would have done it by now in this country.

You know, it would be interesting if NBC Universal, Corus and Cookie Jar would take out the time and put Kids Co. as a digital subchannel, but I don't see that happening.
