For about a year or so I have been feeling my heart race and pound and it comes and goes. It's usually the worst at night when I try to sleep or relax. On rare occasions I also get this sence where my legs feel either real heavy or very light and I get dizy and neasus. Doctor told me I had vertigo and told me to take some Dramamine when that happens.
Well about 2 weeks ago I went out to dinner with my husband. That night I went to lay down and my heart started to race and pound like never before. I had to sit up just to relax. This went on for about 4 days. This was over the holiday vacation and all the doctors were closed, and the ER was solid packed. Well the other night, I was making dinner when I got nauseous and did not feel right. I finally decided to go to the ER. The did an ECG, Drew blood to test heart enzymes and took an Xray of my heart. The only thing I know is that my ECG was abnormal. While there I experienced my first full fledged Panic attack which really scared me. Anyway they gave me a prescription of Ativan. I went to my cardiologist the following day and he looked over the ECG and compared it to the one he took a year ago. There was a very slight change it in it so he ordered a Stress Test and a Sonogram. All came out fine.
I don't know what else to think. My family and frienRAB all think it's anexity. When I take the Ativan all the pains and issues go away.
