My 94 lincoln continental cranks over but dosen't start. after sitting for a couple hours it will start again fine. At auto zone they said my alternator was putting out too much power and said I needed a voltage regulator. (battery is fine) They also said that I had a "profile ignition pickup" fault (code 211). I bought the regulator but I'm worried that won't fix the problem. Which problem do you think it is?
