I agree largely with Gianni...but you should skip the Farrers.
Alex Sanders and Al Manning are also not good choices.
Paul Huson asks his readers to commit acts of profound disrespect to Divine beings; I've read his work, and recommend against it.

Starhawk is in a category all by herself. About half of the people who read her work absolutely hate her, her work, and her little doggie, too. Almost all of the rest who read her work join the Reclaiming Tradition.

Frankly, I'd go with Scott Cunningham, Ray Buckland, Amber K, Patricia Telesco, Chris Pentzak, Ted Andrews, and Z Budapest.
