i am a chinese, I llike sl45, in CHINA we named in 6688

I know the new version is 5601,but wo cann't use,because

the menu is English,and cann't send SMS in chinese!


could any one give me the language for 5601 in chinese

and,tell me hoe to use it

Well, SL was famous because the language pack wasn't included in the firmware but was a file on the MMC. Right? So why u don't try to upgrade to V56 LG1 and then to copy Chinese.lng on your phone's MMC? I think it could be work...

I don't that the language file is the probelem I think that in v56lg1 the chinise characters aren't installed....

The problem is not so easy to solve, I think you need either chinese lgp file in MMC AND chinese characters in fw (I think is possible trought cutting&pasting FuBus)

For opening a Siemens lgp file use Skylord's Siemens Language Editor.

I think it's hard to convert 5601 to "5608"
And imho think it's impossible. It's like making SLIK ringing polyphone. In a technical view it seems to be possible but how to make it practically?

There's no chinese "alphabet". How do chinese communicate via internet? Via a keyboard with 100s of keys? No they use a normal keyboard with "pinyin". The spelling of a word is literally written on the keyboard and then you can select the right chinese "sign" - like ... well t9 input????

Hi to everyone, got a question, hope some of u can help me out, I got my hands on a Siemens 6688, and i want to use it in mexico, Movistar 1900. I put my sim in it, it won't ask for a subsidy code, but it won't log into the network also, any clues?
 
v5608 has been possible
one user named 云河 from bbs.0110.cn has maked it support chinese display, like
sms, txt reading, etc.
but, now the main problem is chinese input
