i have 2 kicker solo barics L7s the squares. they are rated 750RMS and 1500 max power each sub. for now i just had a 1000 watt kenwood laying aound. so i hooked it up. its not as loud as i wanted it to be but i figured it could get me by untill im ready to buy anew amp. but it seems it cuts off after being on for a little bit. sometimes quickly. i am wondering if it is due to the subs being more powerful? is that even a possibility?
