I've been without a car for a while, and now that I no longer live within walking distance to work, I have to buy one. I only really need a car for about 4-6 months.. I found a 95 Celica for $1500, in great shape, working AC, and they say it runs great... only problem is.. it has close to 300,000 miles on it. I had a Celica once and LOVED it.. bought it old and used, and the engine died at about 280,000 miles, but then again.. I didn't really take great care of it. I'm just wondering if this high-mileage vehicle will likely last me about 6 months. If it does, then I still got out cheaper than renting a car or paying a car payment.. any thoughts?
Could a very high mileage toyota likely last me 6 months?
