...1/4 drag race? I have a 98 trans am and theres a kid with a 240 hp 98 honda civic that runs low thirteens and i was wondering if i could take him down in a 1/4 drag race.
He will prohably beat you....his car is lighter but your car will last longer and cost a lot less to fix. By the time his car is 10 years old it will be junk unless he spends a fortune on it.
if both drivers are equally talented no. because the fuel management system of a civic is very advanced and not to forget that it has a race tuned ECU which pushes the car in a burst of acceleration. firebird is a bit old school which means that it will largely depend on raw power to drive but the civic has all the tricks in the book. and is more teched up.
