coughing

A while ago I had bile acid reflux and I had chest pains that lasted for a while.
Now I have really bad bouts of coughing.

Can reflux cause this? I heard it can, maybe from damage to the esophagus. It's really bad but I don't cough up anything bad.

How do let it heal?
 
Are you saying you think you're refluxing bile, and if so, why do you think that? Reflux could cause the symptoms you mention, but so could other things. Have you seen a doctor about your symptoms? That would be where I would start.
 
I'm planning to later but I don't have insurance right now.
I'm sure it's bile because I've been having diarrhea too but not anymore.
