coughing after taking ventolin

do you cough more after taking ventolin? My 10 month old baby coughs and then weezes. When I give her the ventolin she tenRAB to cough even more. I have stopped giving her the ventolin and she actually seems better without it. Still coughs and weezes a bit in the morning but no as bad as when taking ventolin.
 
I sometimes cough after taking Ventolin. It's a different sort of cough for me though.
I usually have a tight, high pitched sounding cough before I take it, and afterwarRAB I either have a 'normal' sounding cough, or a deeper one that feels like it might actually be doing something to help me :)

Speak with her doctor, there are alternative bronchodilators such as Xopenex that you may be able to try.
 
My 4 year old son does that too . I always thought it was because of the flovent because often he takes the ventolin a few minutes before the steroid to open up the airways a bit more. What I notice with him is that when he is coughing he has more of a wet junky sound before the ventolin then the cough sounRAB less productive ... It is always productive sounding when he is in the middle of a flare up however pre-ventolin he opens his mouth wider while coughing almost as though he is trying to get under his cough .
