Cougar Town [US Pace]

I saw the pilot for Modern Family, and I had big expectations about it, from what I heard, and to be honest I found it all very flat.

I just found it all so cliche. The older man with the hot younger women (with the inevitable is that your father joke) and the son that is slightly large, but cant do no wrong. The gay parents that have adopted a son, one that is out and proud, the other one that sees offence as he isnt. The hip/embarissing father and his wife. I really found it all a bit borring, just fell a bit flat for me.
 
Caught an episode of this on Living TV and loved it. I downloaded the whole series so far, and it is absolutely brilliant!! Even my hubby, who hates American sitcoms, laughs all the way through it. Possibly my new favourtie show but I'm surprised there's not more about it on here!!

No, i have a feeling Living is only available on Sky :( Maybe some freeview channel will accquire rights afterwards as many people don't have Sky...

Anyway saw the second episode just now and its absolutely hilarious! Definitely agree that te Single Ladies montage was a highlight, that was so well done! (Note did you spot that Bill Lawrence - the producer of this and Scrubs was one of the cops?!) Really liking Jules' relationship with Grayson (bet you they get together sometime!) and also the relationship between Laurie and Ellie, i think the supporting cast is really strong, which is good!

Loving this :) Definitely my favorite program right now!
 
I watch it and quite enjoy it, but it can be very silly. Everyone is so very funny and clever and full of snappy one liners, but life generally isn't like that.

Also, I'm so jealous of Courteney Cox, who looks fabulous.
 
watched the first series as it was on.....tried to watch the second one but the episode with aniston in it was that poor that i cant b bothered anymore.....modern family is streets ahead
