cost of switching plans?

Hi! How much is the cost of switching plans, particularly to plans that are available for the iPhone?

The voice plans for all phones are the same. You have to purchase the iPhone data plan for $30.00 per month if you use the iPhone on a line. There is no extra cost to change the data plan. You just pay the monthly rate.

Yes, all the smartphone data plans are costly (Iphone, Blackberries, etc). I'm in the process of figuring if I can afford my 2 data plans for my Blackberries. Costing $30 x 2 per month. At first they were great (like playing with a toy for a time). Now most of the time I only call or send texts. I'm thinking of downgrading/going to a less expensive phones. Just want calling/texting/emailing capabilities.
