cost of oil change in Cadillac ?

my granny drove me home from school to day and Had a light flashing that said change engine oil she said she had my uncle to check it out he said it was fine and she thinks it will cost thousands of dollars to change it in the shop will it?
 
haha no take it to wal-mart and they'll do it for about $40. it's higher than most cars just because caddy's usually use more than the typical 5 quarts of oil. my local wal-mart even reset the change oil warning light so i never i had to go to a dealer.
 
Depending where you go....anywhere from 14.99 to 50.00

the oil needs to be changed on a regular basis, every 3000-5000 miles or 6 months.. which ever comes first.....
 
normally the light will not come on if your low on oil or if it needs changed. Unless Cadillac has an oil change feature built in to its system. I would take it by the dealer.Its better to fix a small problem now then a very expensive problem later.
 
Nope. Take it to Jiffy Lube or another oil quick change service business. Cost is in the $25-40 range. Ask first!! Make some calls to get their quote. Oil should be changed at least every 5000-7000 miles. No more.
 
go to local oil change service and try that first, normally about 30.00 then if it the light don't go out you should have a mechanic check it but it is probally computer related.
