I live in Roanoke, Virginia and I have to go at least every 6 weeks to get my rabbit's front teeth trimmed... I talked to my vet and they said it would cost roughly around $600... is that accurate? should I try to go somewhere else because his rates are pretty expensive anyway.. I have to pay $110 just to trim her teeth... what is the average amount people pay to get these teeth extracted?? or do you have any suggestions within a 100 mile radius of Roanoke?? I need all the help I can get - I love her and I don't want to give her away, but I'm a 20 year old college student, living in my own apartment... I can't afford a $600 bill for her teeth nor can I afford to trim her teeth every month...
Thanks..
Just so everyone knows - I'm not an asshole for extracting her teeth..
She's a dwarf bunny and her teeth grow her entire life, they grow so long that she is unable to eat - so extracting them will stop them from hurting or snapping off.
She has back molars to help her chew food, so she'll have teeth, just not her front ones -
it's for her own benefit as well as mine - its a win-win situation...
so back off.
Thanks..
