cost of a divorce if one party is in jail?

my son wants to divorce his wife and he is in jail, they have no property and no children. He lives in TN. I was told that because he is in jail he could get the divorce for $1.00. I really need to know what to do.

Give the court house a call and ask them. They will probably direct you to legal aid.
