Cortisone Injection

Thank you for replying. My ankle is still sore from the cortisone injection. The injection site is still discolored and large. There is still bruising around it and to the right of it. This had been over two weeks now. I am worried! What should I do?

Also, the injection site is discolored and there is bruising around it. Is this normal over two weeks ago. I am kind of worried. What should I do?

Bruising is fairly normal at that site so I would not be worried about it. And it sounds like the shot didn't work. They don't always...and sometimes you need more than one. How long did the doc say it would be before you might notice a difference.
 
I echo the above. I've had three shots in my ankle. If the doc is good....the bruising wasn't so bad. If the doc is bad he might not be such a good driver with the needle..lol and that might result in more bruising.
