A few days ago I was driving in traffic in hot weather and my car overheated, I pulled over and waited for the car to cool down. When the car had cooled down ( which took over an hour) I checked the water and it was empty, which I found strange because I had checked the water the day before and it was full. So I filled the car with water and drove again but not 10 minutes into me driving the car overheated into the red again and I had to stop again. The fan and thermastat are both fine and there are no visible leeks from the radiator.
Does anyone know what the problem could possible be? We were thinking maybe the water pump?
