I was always the tallest during elementary school(kindergarten to gr.8), and was predicted to be very tall. However, when I was 16, i was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I lost a lot of weight, and had a mixture of diarrhea and blood when i went to the bathroom. Now that I'm 20, i am wondering if the illness had an adverse affect to the my height. Did it prevent me from reaching my genetically determined height?
