Coolest 850 phone currently

What would be your dream pick for a phone? I want something that looks good and is not a brick. Style and functionality are desired. There are a lot of nice phones but I need one with 850. Any suggestions are appreciated. Money is no object.

If money is no object; i say the Motorola MING. It is quadband, super sleek design, 2mp camera, MP3 player...check it out.

If not that, the Samsung d600. pretty much same specs.
 
there is a suprisingly limited amount of choice if you want style AND functionality.
The SLVR L7 is stylish but only has a VGA camera
the SE W810 is functional, but could be called a brick by some (I think it looks fine personally)
The V3i, is stylish and somewhat functional but too similar to the RAZR V3
The D600 is probably the most resonable combination
 
I've already tried the t809 so don't really want to give the d600 a try. That motorola MING looks interesting, i haven't heard of it before. The w810 also looks like a solid phone, that may be a choice of mine. I'm gonna look into the MING some more.

edit: any comments on the I-mate Jamin? Looks solid.
 
I thought the N80 is somewhat bulky tho, it looked like it from the review photos i've seen.

Bungsama: why the nokia 8800? isnt it a triband only with no 850? also its a pure style phone with little substance other than basic cell phone features


BD: if you don't like the D600 based on your impressions of the T809, you should reconsider as they are pretty different, the T809 is a tmobile branded phone with branded crippleware while the D600 features are fully accessible, plus the size is very nice.

If you are dead set against samsungs period, then go with the S-E W810 then.

your right in saying that the 8800 is a triband 900/1800/1900, but the 8801 (basically same phone) is triband 850/1800/1900.

your also right in saying that functionally theres much better phones, but you have to admit that it is one sexy arse phone.

if money was no object for me i'll puke up the $$$ for a phone that looks jessica alba, is as exclusive as jessica alba, and has RF like jessica alba (even if the rest of her is like your next door neighbor. unless that is, your neighbor is jessica alba).
 
they must use really small bricks where you live, the n80 its not a brick, its actually quite sexy how small it is, its just a bit thicker because they had to jam pack it with every feature they could (which is why i think they couldnt add auto focus) but its not annoying, a brick is more along the lines of a 9500 thats a brick
 
well, I cannot afford an N80, but from the reviews it looked kinda brickish, at least compared to the onslaught of super thin phones we have now. Overall I guess it was the shape that made me think brick.

Also, to the op, since its not brick like, the N80 is, without a doubt, THE coolest phone you can get with 850.
 
haha echild dont worry about it, when its in your hand though, it feels so tiny and sexy, yes a phone can feel sexy! lol and since i got the black one, it looks plasticy and i like that. and if u think about it all those super slim phones have ***** for features.
