Coolant for 2001 jeep wrangler sport?

What kind of coolant goes in the 2001 jeep wrangler? The cap says special coolant only.

Also when turn on the heater I get a coolant smell for just a minute why? this goes away after a minute or two.1
if only water goen in then how do you keep the engine from overheating when the temp outside get to 15 deg and the water is frozen?
 
You have probably got a heater core leak. Try adding some Bars Leak to the coolant and see if it stops the leak. Otherwise you have to pull the dash to get to the heater core to change it.The special coolant is the 100,000 mile red/orange stuff. (propylene glycol) If you accidentally mix the green 50,000 mile stuff with it,(ethylene glycol) then it just changes it back to 50,000 mile stuff.
And no the cap doesn't mean pure water. However Chrysler dose recommend that when you add water to the coolant you use distilled water. Hardly anyone ever dose tho.
