COOKING QUESTION!! PLEASE HELP SOON!!!?

1/2 cup butter
3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

·Heat oven to 350.
·Grease an 8 X 8 inch cake pan.
·Mix together the flour and salt, and set aside.
·In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate, stirring frequently.
·Remove the saucepan from heat, and let cool. Then stir in:
sugar
eggs
vanilla
flour mixture
walnuts
·Spread in the cake pan and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
·Cool slightly before cutting into squares.

this is the recipe im using to make brownies. when it says Remove the saucepan from heat, and let cool. Then stir in:sugar eggs vanilla flour mixture and walnuts does it want me to add them into the bowl with the flour mixture or add those ingrediants to the pot of melting butter and chocolate?!?

PLEASE ANSWER SOON!!!!! i cant keep the pot on for much longer!!!

the instructions should read thus:

melt the butter and chips in a sauce pan (better done in the microwave or a double boiler) till melted and throughly mixed. cool.

cream together the sugar, vanilla and eggs together till light and lemon colored.

add flour and salt-mix with the sugar and eggs-mix throughly into a batter.

mix in the butter and chip mixture in to the batter.

add the nuts and stir into the batter till they are covered.

place in your bake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

i would check it at 25 or 30 minutes to avoid burning.
