This question is more aimed for someone who has done this process- putting cooking oil on their hair.. :)
Basically, in alot of magazines lately i keep seeing reccomendations for dry hair being putting cooking oil on ur hair..
I just wana ask if it works? Did it make your hair greecy afterwards? i would imagine its hard to get out.. How long do i apply it for? should i have wet hair when i put it on?
Also! the cooking oil i have is vegetable oil called crisp and dry.. Can i use this?
Any other info you can tell me would be great!! My hair is in bad condition and i am gonna give it ago
Much appreciate any help given, thankyouu xx

i've never really tried that, but my friend has. she said it works and it looked like it did. i think that would work. also, my friend puts lotion in her hair and says that helps make it less dry-ish.

The best treatment for dry hair is to wet your hair twice a day with plain shower water. Then do not use any shampoo at all for a good week. Just use conditioner on your hair. I recomend Pantien. it works great! then after it is in your hair leave a little of it in your hair for softness and scent. Then, take a towel and half dry your hair. Blow dry it on a low speed in the back and the very front of your hair and the highest speed on the rest of your hair. Dont brush your hair, use a comb and finger the rest strait. It works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! use the conditioner only in the morning not at night. DO NOT USE OIL AT ALL!!! if you use any oil use pure honey. pour the honey on your hands in small pea size amounts and work it into your damp hair. Then wrap your hair in a towel that has a full 3 cups of honey in it and leave for about 45 min. - 1 hour. then remove the towel and wash out your hair in luke warm water, and towel dry and brush it with a comb. Only do the honey thing with dry hair and scalp.
Hope it helps
