Any help, i'm terrible at math but very good at cooking but this is one of my grade questions.
The recipe below makes 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies.
1 cup of shortening
3/4 cup of white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp of vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups of flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp of salt
2 cups of milk chocolate chips
You need to make the recipe for 1200 chocolate chip cookies for a fall fair.
a) How many dozen eggs would you need?
b) A bottle of vanilla extract holds 16 ounces. How many bottles of vanilla extract will you need to make 1200 chocolate chip cookies? Remember; 6 tsp = 1 ounce.
c) A bag of sugar contains 20 cups of sugar. How many bags of sugar will you need to make 1200 chocolate chip cookies?
