im using the frozen chicken cutlets.. do you put it in a tray filled with a little marinera sauce and then put the cheese on top? or just do it plain with the cutlet and the cheese?

HELLPPP :]

This is how I do mine...hope it helps

PARM-A-CHICKEN

1/2 c. Parmigiana cheese
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 to 3 lbs. chicken, cut up
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cheese, flour and seasonings. Dip chicken in combined egg and milk; coat with cheese mixture. Place on baking dish. Pour butter over chicken. Bake for 1 hour. Serve sprinkled with additional cheese.

Using breaded chicken cutlets will cut down on your time considerably. Here's some suggestions:

1. Brown the breaded cutlets first in hot oil. This will help keep the crust from getting soggy. Drain well.
2. Layer in baking dish (I prefer glass)
3. Spoon your favorite marinara or pasta sauce over the top of each cutlet (I love Paul Newman's Sockarooni sauce for this!)
4. Top with slices of mozarella or provolone, or shredded Italian Blend Cheese.
5. Sprinkle liberally with parmesan cheese.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until cheese has melted and sauce is bubbling. If you want, remove cover and bake an additional 10 minutes to brown the cheese.
