cooking advice about vinegar?

i have a recepie for chili and it asks for DISTILLED WHITE VINEGAR. what i have is APPLE CIDER VINEGAR. do you think i could use that instead?
 
Both vinegars are diluted to about 5% so acidity is not the issue.

I'd say yes you can substitute apple cider vinegar for distilled white vinegar... you will get a little apple flavor from the vinegar, but it should complement the dish, chili.
