Cooking accident BURN BOILING WATER?

i was making mashed potatos and i got the boiling water on my stomach. I immeadiately put a wet rag on it for a while. Time passed and it stopped hurting but when i went to go cheack on it. I had blistered and turned purple. I know im not suppoesed to pop it but it still stings and it itches!!!!

you may think i am crazy but put mustard on gauze. make sure the mustard covere all the burn. and get non adhesive tape and take it to you. it will make it go away way fast and it wont scar

That sounds kind of bad, you might want to see a doctor about that, especially if it's over a very big area.

Don't pop the blisters, and don't scratch it. Put some burn ointment on it and cover it up.
