I have 2. I cooked one ( a small piece) seasoned by the butcher to make a sandwich with. It's almost done cooking. I have rye bread,and mustard!! I forgot swiss cheese! Any substitutions or maybe this will be okay without cheese? I always have it? How do you make your fresh corned beef sammies????

American would be gross!! Too much added salt to an already seasoned corned beef , imo.
I'm from Chicago, we barely eat Thousand Island dressing!! Only, maybe on a Big Mac!! We prefer real olive oil, herbs, etc
But I have heard of Ruebens, and I hear they're ace, complete with saukercraut???
