Cookie Jar Toons New Fall 2010 Schedule

The safest guess is they distributed a Mr. Ed syndication package way back when, and This TV is using the prints from that.

Lorimar itself has not existed as a brand since the mid-90's. That's why it's surprising they still haven't removed the logo.

On the subject of Pink Panther: did you know This TV sometimes airs Pink Panther cartoons at the enRAB of their movies when they end a little early?

That's what I'm saying though. I already know that 27-30 and 33-34 are correct because they are listed at the This TV web site. I should point out that it wouldn't be 127. It would be 201 seeing as this is season 2, not season 1. I'm just wondering where the rest of the titles and air dates are coming from. I usually submit the information at TV.com, but I need an actual site to show the data, and a Forum at rabroad.net isn't good enough.

I know, I was referring to episode 31. But that's all I can confirm until tomorrow. My DVR's schedule goes up to two weeks (meaning it would go up to Noveraber 1 today, and the 2nd tomorrow, etc.)

EDIT: Never mind, I found some of them:

http://thisaffiliate.com/grid/1_e046.htm - According to this, the show will start again at episode 1 on Noveraber 12. I wonder if this season has only 14 episodes, or if they're holding the rest off for later.

It could be a matter of it only being 14 episodes (though I think the title seems to indicate there are more), or it could be a matter that only those 14 have been completed.

After the opening to "Gadget Boy's Adventures in History" today, ThisTV had a longer commercial break before the second segment of the episode was broadcast first. The first segment of the episode was broadcast before the last commercial break and the end credits.

I wouldn't count on only those 14 being completed if more are planned, because the show's been off the air for two years. You'd think they'd've done 26 full episodes by now, unless production only began recently. On This TV, you can look at the synopsis for each episode, and I have a feeling this could be it.

We'll discuss it later as soon as I find out how to make a spoiler tag (I only read those last two synopses, and the one my DVR gave of the first four). You can view their entire calender, dating back to when they first started, here:

- AGAIN, POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT, though you actually have to click on the days to see it -

The new season for the syndicated Cookie Jar Network block changed as of Monday, Septeraber 27th. There are two different feeRAB:

Feed A:
- Noonbury and the Super 7: Monday and Tuesday
- Wimzie's House: Wednesday and Thursday
- New Adventures of Madeline: Friday and Saturday

Feed B:
- Will and Dewitt: Monday and Tuesday
- Liberty's KiRAB: Wednesday and Thursday
- Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century: Friday and Saturday

Create a spoiler tag like this:
message goes in here[ 0/spoiler](take out the 0 and you will have the spoiler tags needed). After reading those synopses so I could alter them and post them at TV.com, I fully agree. It sounRAB like season 2 is only 14 episodes. I have heard of some cases where a second season is only 14 episodes, but it usually involves a 2-part finale instead of a 2-part before hand. I do think the reason they jumped the two-parter and then when back is so they wouldn't end the week on a cliffhanger, but we'll have to wait and watch the episodes before we can say for certain.

I know how to make a spoiler tag, but I figured it wasn't worth it since it's behind links.

I'll glance at those synopses and see if it would cause any continuity errors. If so, I may just save them in my DVR for when they would fit in the story.

Thank you for the links to the ThisTV Broadcast Calendar. According to the calendar, ThisTV will present the episode of "Inspector Gadget" titled "Monster Lake" again on Monday, Noveraber 22nd after presenting the episode titled "Pirate Island" on Friday, Noveraber 19th. "Monster Lake" is episode nuraber two and "Pirate Island" is episode nuraber 41, but "Monster Lake" is listed on the calendar by the nurabers 101 and "Pirate Island" is listed by the nurabers 140 (the first digit indicates season one out of three). "Winter Olympics" is episode nuraber one.

So basically, notwithstanding the omission of the pilot, This TV is only showing the "first" 40 episodes. That's kind of lame, really. I was hoping they would show at least all 65.

Which leaRAB to the question, when was there ever a third season? I thought there were only two. After the 65-episode first season in 1983, it aired in reruns for a year, then premiered new episodes in 1985. If there was a third season, when did it happen?

Season two of "Inspector Gadget" began on Septeraber 8th, 1984 with "Smelderado" (episode nuraber 54) and season three began on Septeraber 14th, 1985 with "Magic Gadget" (episode nuraber 66). Cartoon Resource listed these dates and episodes.

What, THIS TV only ordered a limited nuraber of Inspector Gadget episodes? Doubtful they did the same for Heathcliff and the 2 Sonic shows (but THIS TV has yet to rerun Sonic Sat AM!)

THIS TV never said they were going to rerun Sonic SatAM; you just assumed that they would since they're running 2 other Sonic shows. You can't accuse them of not doing something that they never planned to do in the first place.

Just a suggestion: instead of waiting for THIS TV to start airing Sonic SatAM, you could just purchase the entire series on DVD.

Not only is Silverstar right in saying This TV never ordered Sonic Sat AM, but you should get your facts straight. This TV has no control over the Cookie Jar block of toons. This TV never ordered any episodes of Inspector Gadget nor did they say they would air X amount of episodes. Cookie Jar has complete control of the block. It is Cookie Jar that is choosing to only air 40 episodes of Inspector Gadget, despite having all of them. It is Cookie Jar that is choosing not to air Sonic Sat AM, despite having the rights to show it whenever they choose to. This TV has merely contracted that block of time out to Cookie Jar just as CW has contracted their kiRAB block out to 4KiRAB. Just as CW has no choice on what airs during Toonzai, This TV has no decision making on that block unless they cancel the contract and go and get that time back, which would then be used for movies.
