The schedule for Cookie Jar Toons on ThisTV radically changes starting Monday, Septeraber 27 and includes many classic series from the 80's and 90's. Spider Riders and Green Screen Adventures are the only hold-overs from the previous season.

Here's the new schedule:

Monday thru Friday Mornings:

07:00 AM: Heathcliff
07:30 AM: The Wacky World of Tex Avery
08:00 AM: Inspector Gadget
08:30 AM: Gadget Boy's Adventures in History (M,W,F) / The Pink Panther Show (T,R)
09:00 AM: Spider Riders
09:30 AM: Magi-Nation

Saturday Mornings:

10:00 AM: Green Screen Adventures
10:30 AM: Busytown Mysteries
11:00 AM: The Busy World of Richard Scarry
11:30 AM: The Busy World of Richard Scarry
12:00 PM: Cake
12:30 PM: Dance Revolution

Sunday Mornings:

08:00 AM: Sonic Underground
08:30 AM: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog
09:00 AM: Sonic Underground
09:30 AM: Alienators: Evolution Continues
10:00 AM: Stargate Infinity: The Animated Series
10:30 AM: Magi-Nation

It appears that Saturday mornings is a girl themed lineup while Sunday mornings is for boys.

This lineup looks good, the shows I'll be watching on this Cookie Jar Toons lineup are: Inspector Gadget, The Pink Panther Show, Spider Riders, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, Sonic Underground, Sonic the Hedgehog, Alienators, and Stargate Infinity.

WOWWW I'm so surprised they're bringing all these old shows back, only WHYY ? did they put Heathcliff at 7 am : (

Emily of New Moon was such a fun show where I could joke around about the plots and characters that it's sad to see it go. Then again we have the entire series on DVD so I can get the show to watch at home if I want. As for all of these shows, I don't know why Cookie Jar thought that Cake and Dance Revolution were good enough to be shown again in reruns again and again. And I thought Sabrina: The Animated Series was in lirabo for too long. They don't have enough episodes to warrant a syndicated release. They were also the shows that put an end to the Secret Sluraber Party block on CBS.

Dennis the Menace was made by DIC (which Cookie Jar now owns), but The Program Exchange still has the TV rights (DIC/Cookie Jar don't own the TV rights to all of their catalog).

Also, it looks like there are only four shows in the lineup that come directly from Cookie Jar (both Richard Scarry series, Magi-Nation and Spider Riders). Heathcliff, Tex Avery and Inspector Gadget were syndicated once. I wonder if they will retain their original commercial bumpers.

Nice schedules, especially the adventure hour (Spider Riders followed by Magi-Nation) at the end of the weekday schedule. Hopefully, with it being shown both weekdays and Sundays, Magi-Nation will get seen by more people. It's one of the few shows that actually is educational AND entertaining without being somewhat lame.

I'm assuming the Sonic series on airing Sundays is the Sonic SatAM series. I believe Disney still has the rights to the syndicated series.

Nope. When Disney sold the rights of the DiC Entertainment shows to DiC, all rights were in DiC's (now Cookie Jar Entertainment)'s hanRAB.

And NCircle recently released some AOSTH DVRAB that had the Cookie Jar Entertainment logo.

As for the schedule: Awesome sauce, except for the fact that Busytown Mysteries are already on Cookie Jar TV (in a hour format this fall) and Cake are going to burn through those 13 episodes that aired on DiC's Secret Sluraber Party on CBS FOUR YEARS AGO. Same with KEWLopolis. How about Madeline airing on Cookie Jar Toons instead? And it looks like the only Cinar/Cookie Jar titles on the block are Spider Riders, Magi-Nation, Busytown Mysteries, and The Busy World of Richard Scarry, versus the huge DiC offerings we're getting.

Also, why are Green Screen Adventures still on there? It sticks out like a sore thurab on the block. And Pink Panther should be on after the block.

But here's a schedule I came up with.

Monday-Fridays

7:00AM Heathcliff
7:30AM The Wacky World of Tex Avery
8:00AM Inspector Gadget
8:30AM Gadget Boy (both series) (M, W, F) / Dino Squad (T,T)
9:00AM Spider Riders
9:30AM Magi-Nation

Saturdays

10:00AM The Busy World of Richard Scarry
10:30AM Madeline
11:00AM The Little Lulu Show
11:30AM Trollz
12:00PM Sabrina (Both series)
12:30PM Mary Kate and Ashley in Action!

Sundays

8:00AM Sonic The Hedgehog (both AOSTH and Sonic SatAM)
8:30AM Mummies Alive!
9:00AM Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
9:30AM Flight Squad
10:00AM Metajets
10:30AM Magi-Nation

Whaddya think?

Is that the Heathcliff with the Catillac Cats? If so, I'm in.

Is everything in this lineup supposed to be E/I? Because as the only person who saw Tex Avery, I can tell you there's nothing educational about it. You especially won't learn anything about Tex Avery....

Wait a minute......This TV also announced they were showing Filmation classics on the weekenRAB; is that still a deal?

Only the Saturday Morning lineup is supposed to be E/I!

RTV is the network that announced they will be showing Filmation classics on the Saturday Mornings not This TV!

While there are some programs of interest listed such as "Inspector Gadget" and "Heathcliff" (which may or may be cleared for broadcast by my local station, which broadcasts "Enjoying Everyday Life with Joyce Meyer" at 6:00 AM Central time Monday through Friday), I will not have every episode of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by the time it's gone. The station had just become available in my area on July 21st after its transmitter was moved closer to where I reside.

The last time I saw "Sonic the Hedgehog" was when it was the USA Network and I did not see it very much (I can remeraber watching only one episode completely) due to its timeslot unlike "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog", which was presented at a convenient time Monday through Friday and was the first TV series I've ever seen based on the Sonic the Hedgehog games. Since then I have purchased the first two volumes of "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" (I must wait to purchase the third volume online, unless the series were to return to TV sooner and on a station or network without graphics ruining the viewing experience), but I will give "Sonic the Hedgehog" and "Sonic Underground" another chance.

Wow, this is going to be the first time Sonic SatAM has aired on American TV since, what, 1997? Of course the whole series has been readily available on DVD for several years now, but it's still interesting.

Glad to see Magi-Nation coming back. I never got the chance to really see it, and I was getting into it before it was pulled from KWB.

My guess why it wasn't removed from the lineup is because the show is produced by WCIU, which is the flagship station for This TV Network.

Yes, it is Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats.

Not every show on the lineup is E/I compliant: only Magi-Nation, Green Screen Adventures, Busytown Mysteries, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, Mary Kate and Ashley in Action, Cake, Dance Revolution, and Stargate Infinity: The Animated Series. Like powergate92 said, the entire Saturday morning block is E/I.

Essentially we gain 5 hours overall with the additional hour on weekdays. I guess I'll actually have to set my DVR to record This on Weekdays and Saturday because I actually enjoy all these series and never did get to see the finish of Stargate Infinity (since they moved it to Wonderful World of DiC after the first 13 episodes instead of letting FOX air the final 13 episodes). I wonder if this means season 2 of Magi-Nation will premiere on This TV though. It seems strange to run a series with 26 episodes 6 days a week since you'll get through it in less than a month.

That's a very impressive lineup, and one that I'll have to watch if I get up early enough since I have ThisTV on broadcast antenna in my room. I haven't seen some of these shows in years too, so I'm really happy to see them on TV again!

Wimzie's House and Country Mouse/City Mouse are leaving the schedule!

Sure wish CBS' Cookie Jar TV added something decent with E/I like maybe The Get Along Gang.

I'm glad THIS TV got the rights to air in October from the DIC library Heathcliff (from the 1980's) and Sonic the Hedgehog (1990's)!

If what happened to the planned DVD release is any indication, DIC/Cookie Jar may not have any control over that. If American Greetings Corporation* (the original creators) was able to stop the planned DVD, then they might have the power to prevent the TV show from being broadcast if they wanted, but that's just me. I really don't know what's going on.

*They also created Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, Popples, and Lady Lovely Locks, all of which DIC adapted into TV shows (although Care Bears later went to Nelvana for a newer TV show), although DIC only did the second incarnation of SSC.
