Does anyone get the new digital channel THIS which airs not only movies from the MGM library, but also 3 hours every day cartoon shows from the Cookie Jar Library?
AIRING WEEKDAYS:
Robinson Sucroe
Miss Mallard Mysteries
Animal Crackers
Flight Squad
Paddington Bear
Spider Riders
Ripley's Believe It or Not (animated series)
AND ON SATURDAY MORNINGS:
Country Mouse and City Mouse Adventures
Busy World of Richard Scarry
Wimzie's House

My experience with him on other forums leads me to believe that Dth1971 does not "punk" others. This is exactly how he describes anything new (and real).

This debuted in my area around Thanksgiving and replaced Universal Sports as a digital supplement for the local CBS affiliate.

As for some of the toons: Busy World of Richard Scarry previously was on Nick. Ripley's Believe it or Not, IIRC, was on the (Fox) Family Channel before Disney took it over. Paddington Bear was, IIRC, on HBO and/or Nick, can't remember which. I think all three were produced by other studios (and I remember seeing a Richard Scarry VHS collection a few years back put out by Paramount, hence the Nickelodeon connection).

This also has reruns of Mr. Ed and the Patty Duke Show for the baby boomers.

I REALLY hope this channel comes to NYC in the near future.

Even though it was shown only on a local Spanish channel, I liked Flight Squad a lot!:D I'd love to finally hear it with English dialogue.

Oh, I'd also love to see Ripley's Believe It or Not: TAS again. I thought it was very enjoyable back on Fox Family before it changed to ABCFamily.:)

EDIT: This my 2500th post. Pretty neat.:anime:
