convincing my parents to go to a sports school for gymnastics?

My dad doesnt mind if i go but my mum wont let me! she says i cant go bcause it would be too much driving to and from practice and school but iv been looking up buses i can catch. money isnt a big issue and she wants me and my brother to go to the same school. but i dont understand why we cant go to different schools!!! i need a way to convince them to let me go because i hate my school and i luv gymnastics!!
 
Do some research about the school and the buses you would need to catch, if you present it well mum is more likely to realise how serious you are, maybe also make a training schedule for yourself to show how badly you want to go, also a letter from your gym coach to say you have potential would be good.Hope this info helps.Good luck!
