To get back a ed2k client.I tried everithing, Overnet Lite , eMule, etc, works fine but i have only a problem , after a hour of download my pc begin to be slow as hell.

No ,i don't have any files , i did it a clean install of eMule plus and Overnet lite.Btw, why with Overnet when i start to download a file the speed is very high for some minutes and after that slow down ?

Emule oficiall client its still slow down my pc, i remember on the eMule Plus site it was some time ago a amd optimized version , where is gone ?

its not gone. Its just implemented into the one file. It will automaticallly detect your processor and adjust accordinly. Optimisation is disabled for dual processors as there are some bugs still need solving.
How much does it slow the computer down? Out of ciouriosity how many found sources do you have? and files in list?

if you have one or two files i don't see the big deal and have been doing restart all the time, i mean if its going super slow what do you have to lose????

Nothing to lose mate.

Maybe in the next realease they could replace the sharing & queue system with a restart function instead.

yay you finally upgraded!!

Youve probably heard that you can turn off all the stats and graphs, and all the other options in emule, overnet etc so the actual program uses less resources.
Normally the stats youve mentioned(for ya comp) would handle the resource and thread load, but more memory wouldnt go astray(WinXP uses a minimum of 128MB's to run)

I'll show you again mate. The optimisations not part of the program its loaded after emule is like the credit file.Probably enhancement with the gui or something. :)

Isnt it a 1h version though? Theres no zlib aware protocol in that , so even if it works fine you'll be turned down by quite a lot of servers. Although there are still some who use it.

ok there seems to be some confusion.

SH thought there was an amd optimised version of e+.

I said there is and was. There is only one e+ file to download now, which actives optimisation depending on processor (AMD optimisation turns on if there is an AMD processor).

You said you have the AMD version if SH wanted it.

But as i already said 1i, 1j, and even in 1k (beta) has AMD optimisations. You dont need to install 1h then update the binary to 1i. Just install to 1i and it should be optimised. It even says in your log.

my specs:
1.2Ghz AMD Athlon
256MB RAM
Connection : 600Kb/128Kb
Found sources: 2000-4000.

Try lowering your found sources number to 2000 (value can be found in stats). If you currently hold a lot of downloads in the list either paused/stopped, clear it or store it in a txt file till till you've downloaded some off. 100+ on mine slows it down.
Any partitions?
Disable any sorting updates.
Lower queue size.
Increase stats redisplay time or disable.
Try different mods.
Lower priority of hashing just in case.

Try these and let me know how you get on.

Havent we have this before lol & i displayed an image

No mate i install the amd release then copy the latest plus binary files over,So i'm using amd 1I :)
