Converting PDF to other image files?

Currently looking for a mainstream program that converts PDF's to .bmp, .jpg, .png, the sort. Preferably free but I don't mind paying money so long as its not something seedy like "PDF2JPG4YOU" just an image converter that will load PDF's from a trusted website from a trusted company is what I'm looking for and a google search doesn't turn any up
