I have decided to convert one of my bikes to run on electricity and i was wondering if anyone knows of any inexpensive but reliable kits. I would also like to know of laws regarding electric bicycles.
Just google an electric bike kit, they arent incredibly expensive. Laws depend where you are. Im in Oregon, and they are illegal on sidewalks, and 15mph is the maximum top speed unassisted (without pedaling, going by motor), if it goes over 15mph, it is considered a moped and goes through inspections and safety regulations and such.
