Controversy in Haiti project?

We're doing a project in Haiti and the controversy involving the money we raised for them and where it's going. We are stuck on what to talk about but does anyone have any suggestions on what we should talk about? We have looked up the Yele controversy but haven't gotten very far with that.

Thanks

Giving them food has created a situation where their own farmers cannot sell their food, because there are no buyers (because people won't buy food, if they can get it free).

Is it more ethical TO NOT give food and allow some people to starve because they cannot afford to buy food from Haitian farmers, OR TO GIVE food so that no one starves today, but therefore causing more people to be unable to pay for food, because they have lost their businesses (farming, food sales).
