Contractor Phone

I need a phone that:

Is Verizin compatible.
Is indestructable and very reliable (the contractor reference)
Needs no features other than making calls.
Fits in my pocket without the antenna castrating me.

Any suggestions?
 
Only ones that are Verizon compatible are the verizon phones inthe stores or their website. They don't allow non Verizon branded phones on their network. Sprint is the same way.

The pink motorazr would be nice I bet! In all seriousness, I would suggest one of the RAZRs as they are slim and easily fit in a pocket. I would also suggest you look at some of the cheaper phones as well, if you tend to bust then up every once in awhile. I imagine a flip phone would be preferable as well.
 
Verizon does have the Gzone or something like that which is water dust and shock resistant, which would probably be good for you, but it is pretty expensive and I believe it is fairly large. Depending on how important that toughness is to you, you might want to check it out. good luck

See if you can find the Nokia 6015i. My job is also phone-hazardous, and my nokia has survived a 40ft drop, as well as countless fumbles and being crushed in my pocket worst that happens when you drop it is the faceplate and battery fall off, but that's about 30 seconds before you're up and running again. Verizon won't carry this phone anymore, but you can pick one up on ebay for ~$20. I'd advise against flip phones if possible, i've made that mistake before, and was changing out the phone once a month. Hope that helps!
