Which I was not informed that I was entering when I signed to have the work done, so I decided to cancel 7 days later. Now the company is threatening me with bailiffs and all sorts if I do not pay them 50% of the repair bill.
What are my rights here, do I have to pay or can I tell them to swivel.
What a waste of time that was, 2 idiotic replies. I signed a sheet of paper which was to give them the go ahead to do the work, at no time was I told it was a contract, and even if I knew it was a contract, as far as I am aware, although I could be wrong, there is usually a period of time allowed to cancel.
